Feed The Beast

2022

In this body of work, entitled Feed the Beast, I attempt to grapple with facets of my own representation of myself and my sexuality on social media through the images of influencers and internet personas.

I wanted to eternalize and create lore around videos and posts that are fleeting. In doing so I am confronting the viewer with the voyeurism, longing for connection, and passing of judgement we place on images of women we scroll-by on an all too consistent basis.

Selected Works

2013 - 2020

These selected pieces made in a seven year window demonstrate my interest in ways to capture the relationship between the immaterial and the weight of the tangible world. The mediums vary between works on paper, oil painting, graphite, and digital art.

I consider these pieces to be a physical map of internal landscapes that I experience.
